I really appreciated the sit down after the appointment to discuss future costs of treatment. It was very well done, no pressure, and I left feeling like there was no need to stress because there was no guessing as to what pricing would be. Straightforward and honest. I really loved that part. In addition, both the technician and the Doc were very clear in their communication and extremely polite in their actions. I also hadn’t been to a dentist in 5 years and expected some shaming for that. I received none, they made me feel at ease. I have been going to Dr. Duke for almost 4 years and out of every dentist office I have been to I can honestly say that this is the best Dentist office I have ever been to. The staff and Dr. Duke are amazing they don’t just treat you like a number they treat you like family which I appreciate so much. It’s scary sometimes to go into a dentist to get your teeth worked on but go when you go here you won’t have that feeling. The staff and Dr. Duke joke around and make me laugh while I’m there and that makes my day every time. I love going to my appointments because even though I might be numb and swollen after having my teeth worked on I still walk out of there with a smile on my face and almost always laughing. The receptionist are so professional and sweet on the phone and in person which makes it feel so comfortable and cozy while you sit there waiting to see the doctor. I will never go to another Dentist as long as Dr. Duke is around.

I cannot say enough good things about every single person I met during my visit! I had to get in for emergency treatment and they scheduled me promptly, when I arrived I was given a friendly greeting, completed my paperwork, got in the exam room had my examination quickly. All costs were clearly explained and approved before treatment. The treatment was fast and Dr. Duke made sure I was comfortable. Veronica was fantastic at explaining every step, and how to take care of myself after. Costs were reasonable. Brittany and Sydney were so nice also. Overall, I felt very well cared for. From a person who has always had dentist anxiety, I can say I would 10/10 recommend! I will definitely go to Bitterroot Dental for all my future care.

I first went to Dr. Duke for a regular cleaning while I was pregnant; I was very impressed by how helpful his staff was. I returned to have x-rays after my baby was born. I needed a lot of dental work done including having all four wisdom teeth pulled. They grouped all my work into as few visits as possible…which I great appreciated. Dr. Duke checked numerous times to make sure I was comfortable the whole time, even giving extra novocain when needed! He did such an amazing job pulling my wisdom teeth I have almost no pain or soreness! And saved me a ton of money by not going to an oral surgeon! Even called personally to check to see how I was doing! Thank you Dr Duke and everyone at Bitterroot Dental!

The use of the laser for drilling out a cavity was painless and quick, (no high pitched drill sound). It is the way to go for me. No stress thinking about the novacaine injection because it is not needed! GREAT!! I’ll recommend Dr. Duke’s laser to my friends.

Hygienist is highly skilled and friendly. Laser was used to eliminate bacteria existence in my mouth pain free. Dr. Duke uses laser techniques that are pain free and easy! 6 year old didn’t even bat an eyelash when Dr. Duke used the laser on him! Love this place!

He always has a smile on his face and always takes the time to sit down and talk with you to make sure all your needs are addressed. I’ve had a particularly nice experience with Cezanne Hogan and periodontal care. Cezanne reliably provides the best dental experiences I’ve ever had. I assume that few people are fans of taking a trip to the dentist, and I’m no exception, but treatment from Cezanne involves the least amount of pain and discomfort of any of my dental experiences. She’s also quite friendly and a total professional.

When Dr.Duke began his practice in Missoula and upon the recommendation of several of my friends, he became our family dentist. Over all the years I have had dental service, I can honestly say I have never had better care. He and his staff are highly professional and everyone is pleasant! Dr. Duke truly cares for his patients and their dental welfare. When I learned I needed my sixth implant I was delighted to learn that Dr. Duke was amply qualified to do the implant! After removing the tooth and doing a necessary bone graft, I waited until the area was properly healed. When I returned for the installation, I admit I was somewhat nervous considering previous experiences. I was pleasantly amazed at the speed and accuracy in which he placed a perfectly positioned implant. His dexterity and accuracy bespoke of experience and confidence! My mouth never even noticed anything different! No pain and no after operation concerns have happened! By the way, I’m 84 years old.

I have never been more happy with a dental office than I am at Bitterroot Dental. Both Dr. Duke and Carla have been so very informative in all the visits I have had for myself and daughter. I absolutely love that aspect of care! Martina is also very sweet and helpful. I think the entire staff does a wonderful job in making us feel like we are individuals and not just “another patient”. Additionally, my husband has always been somewhat afraid of the dentist and after his last visit he sent me a message to say “that was definitely the best dental visit I’ve ever had.” It’s nice to feel good about going to the dentist and not have it be one more thing that you dread or ‘have to do’. My experience with Dr. Duke was excellent! I was visiting Missoula on a weekend and my 9 year old daughter needed a tooth pulled. Dr. Duke came in on a Saturday just to see her. I was impressed by how gentle he was. My daughter didn’t even know she was getting a shot; he was that good. The tooth was out so fast she thought he was just looking at it. I appreciate the friendly but professional atmosphere. I also appreciate the fact that he took the time on a weekend to help both of us learn more about how to improve both our oral and overall health as well. Clearly he is incredibly knowledgeable about dentistry and cares about his patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Duke for any dental needs. If I lived in Missoula, he would be my dentist.
Looking for a dentist is sometimes tough. When it comes to Dr. David Duke look no further. Dr. Duke is truly one of Missoula’s finest dentists. His compassions, concern, gentleness, honesty and dedication to the field is all but amazing and then some. He’s matriculate in his trade as a dentist and treats his patients and staff as family.
The atmosphere is refined yet subtle. There’s absolutely no pressure between patient and Dr. Duke in any way when it comes to decisions on a patient’s needs.
His demure and professionalism is what I look for in an outstanding dentist. He takes the time, interest and has the understanding as to what you go through, been through or will go through and that is why after three years of service I will continue to be one of his patients. When an old crown fell off, I was dreading getting a new one. But the whole hour and a half went smoothly from novocaine to temporary. I appreciated that Dr. Duke took the time to explain so many things to me, which helped me understand more and put me at ease. I also appreciated his cheerful manner and skill. Not only did he make an unpleasant event (to me) almost pleasant, but my bite is back to normal! And his assistant Marie is also to be commended for her efficiency.
Making a major change in the choice of a doctor, CPA, or dentist can cause some moments of anxiety. That’s what my thoughts were when I approached Dr. David Duke’s Bitterroot Dental office on Higgins near Stephens Ave. I had first learned of his office through a flyer and since it was so close by, I made an appointment. It was a great decision on my part.
Since first meeting with Dr. Duke, I have been tremendously impressed by his knowledge and his professionalism. I had to have multiple implants to replace missing teeth. With the procedure completed, how fortunate I feel that Dr. Duke is my dentist. I found the time spent in his dental chair caused little pain and brought about wonderful results. I love my new teeth.

I went into Bitterroot Dental for a general check-up and cleaning. I also had two small cavities filled later in the day. I found the entire staff competent, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Not only did they find me an appointment time on fairly short notice (~1.5 weeks), but once they discovered the cavities and found I was on a tight schedule, they offered to let me come back later in the day to have them filled. As weird as it sounds for a dentist appointment, I not only felt I was in excellent hands, but I had a good time. In terms of prices, I found Bitterroot Dental to be quite affordable — either cheaper than or comparable to other dentists in the area. I highly recommend Bitterroot Dental. 🙂

Dr. Duke is amazing!! He is the best dentist I have ever been to. He is so nice and has amazing bed side manner! I am a mid aged woman who had the opportunity to experience many types of dental care around the US. I am constantly in fear of dentists anywhere. Dr. Duke is an awesome dentist! He is gentle, efficient and thoroughly explains every procedure. I highly recommend him for every procedure. Today he removed a wisdom tooth in less than 30 seconds, without pain. This is actually the second tooth he removed easily. He has done one crown and I am happy with my new tooth. I am excited to get my first laser filling without a shot at my next appointment. I no longer live in fear and actually look forward to a lifelong partnership with Dr. Duke for the care of my teeth and gums. Before she moved, my daughter also went to Dr. Duke on a recommendation from her friend. She also loved him.
